Experimental walk in the woods

The podcast exists as an audio first project by design. I think there’s tremendous power in being an audio only product. I want to be able to share more audio with listeners and supporters so I’m conducting some experiments to see what I can make. Below is a sample of audio I recorded on a walk this lunchtime and I’d love some feedback. Would you stick this on in the background while you work? Bring a little bit of the highlands to you? Would you rather I wasn’t walking? Is taking pictures distracting?

Things I think I’ve learned so far, I’ve mounted the mic a little ways away from from my head but it’s still close enough you can hear me breathing and you can hear my clothes rustle which I don’t like. You can hear the camera which I do like but maybe you don’t. I was thinking of doing at least one of these a week. What do you think?
